We experience a continental climate, with harsh winters and warm summers.

The warmest month of the year is July, with an average temperature of 21.3 °C.

The coldest month of the year is January, when temperatures average near freezing at 0.8 °C.

Annual rainfall across our area is about 988 mm and we have an average of 143 rainy days a year. It snows almost every year. Strong winds come from the north and north-east.

Sometimes we have southern winds which bring hot weather.
